Michele Claussen

Michele has been a long-time resident of the North Shore and Truckee area, since she moved here from Santa Cruz 20 years ago. She graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno with a B.S. in Pre-Med, and completed a post-graduate program in Colorado, to become a licensed medical Sonographer (the person who does the ultrasound for pregnant women and other patients) After 10 years of working in hospitals within the Truckee/Tahoe and Reno areas, she moved into physician training, product development and eventually medical sales. Now that Michele and her husband Jim have two young children, Sawyer 3, and Eva 1, she wanted to leave behind the 12 hour shifts and extensive traveling, and has recently obtained her California Real Estate License and is in the process of obtaining her Nevada Sales license. Michele and her family enjoy all of the options available here, from hiking, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, boating, and gardening. Although new to real estate as a career, Michele has a strong understandingof the sales process, the Tahoe/Truckee and surrounding areas, and the importance of having the support and collective knowledge and expertise of the group at Tahoe Sierra Real Estate Associates and Century 21.
